02 EVENT OF THE MONTH

For the 21st time: It’s May! - North America’s leading professional trade fair for contemporary design - in the Jacob K Javits Convention center in New York; the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) opened its doors at the end of May.

More than 550 exhibitors from 34 countries including Artmeide, Hansgrohe, Rapsel, Brühl, Arper, Conmoto and many, many other trendsetters with status and name showcased the newest trends in furniture, textile and ceramic design - at times provokingly with unusual futuristic products.

The off-program in the city was just as worth seeing. Here RADIUS DESIGN found itself in illustrious company with its unique refined Home Flame Collection. Year after year the many shops provide a magical magnet and platform for young, intrepid designers who are able to showcase their talents and fantasies. Top design and power with a fresh innovative flair - the perfectly formed, high-tech eye-catchers by RADIUS DESIGN were in the right company here.

... or so the latest Toyota commercial shot by Christopher Thomas with Oliver Kahn and Heiner Brand on the Canary Island of Tenerife promises. The slogan also applies to the portal www.gosee.de, the website of the synonymous PR agency for fashion and commercial photography on which the hot ad can be viewed at length. At www.gosee.de users can see the latest advertising campaigns of the biggest labels. Where top model Agyness Deyn poses in the current ad for Austria’s mineral water Nr. 1, what the dainty French film star Isabelle Huppert or the director of “The Piano Player” and “Caché, Michael Haneke, have in common. The portal tells impressive, unbelievable stories from the world of advertising and their testimonials.

Almost 700 internationally renowned photographers are members of GoSee, a website featuring almost as many themes. Print campaigns for Siemens, Philips, BMW, Alfa Romeo and Bentley, for Apollo Optik, Elbeo and Galouises, to name but a few are as much a part of the website as the background info on exciting, sensitive, glamorous and glamorous shootings for glossy magazines and journals.
